The origin of the Universe has always been a mystery some say it came with a big bang while others say it was the work of a divine creator. In the Big Bang theory and no its not the tv show states that there was a massive explosion of heat and light. Afterwards after the heat died down and the atoms began to bunch together and form the stars of and planets. In the Book of Genesis God illuminated Earth by saying "Let there be Light" and setting about filling the world with plants and animals which took about seven days. But the Big Bang took place trillions of years ago before the Earth came into exist. I am not saying that the Religion is wrong but it's possible that a creator had nothing to do with making the universe.
